Transforming waste into valuable products, is an innovative social enterprise that operates throughout Latin America, India and Africa. It strives to empower local farmers by bringing technology, training and financing to remote regions which are directly being impacted by climate change, food insecurity and poverty.’s patented biodigester system converts agricultural waste into biogas renewable energy and powerful organic fertilizer, transforming what was previously a problem into increased productivity. It’s specifically designed for small-to-medium-sized farms and slaughterhouses, with low-cost, long-term maintenance for the communities involved.

The biogas that’s created as an end product can be used for household cooking and heating water for use in the bathroom, as well as the small-scale production of agricultural products or to power electrical goods and machinery. The decomposition of organic materials during the process results in a liquid organic fertilizer known as Biol, which can be applied to community vegetable gardens, fruit trees or employed in traditional crop production.

So far the company has installed biodigesters that have positively impacted the lives of more than 25,000 people, producing clean energy and saving over 36,000 hectares of trees per year. By the end of 2021, their goal is to install biodigesters that will reach out to more than 200,000 people in 15 countries, including rural communities in Colombia, Nicaragua and Mexico.

Forming part of the company’s core international leadership team and reporting directly to the CEO, this is a challenging role where your everyday actions will be impacting the lives of tens of thousands of farmers around the country.

By driving sales, negotiating partnerships and ensuring accountability on the ground, you’ll be translating’s global strategy into clear and tangible outcomes for the region. Immerse yourself in the dynamic culture of Mexico as you recruit, mentor and motivate your team, supporting them as they deliver life-changing services to rural communities across Latin America.

Spend your week building relationships with key stakeholders and developing strategic partnerships. Then venture beyond the sprawl of Mexico City on weekends to discover cobblestoned towns, lively beach resorts and pre-Columbian ruins. In addition to spearheading the company’s sales and marketing in the region, you’ll have the opportunity to work face-to-face with farmers in rural environments while encountering the regional cuisines and distinct local traditions that make Mexico such a captivating destination.’s after a go-getter with 5-10 years under their belt working across various sales, marketing and operations sectors, with the first-hand experience in a high growth environment. Not only do you need an entrepreneurial mindset (and not be afraid to get your hands dirty) but a track record of solving organizational challenges and working with communities in rural and semi-urban environments. Alexander Eaton, the CEO and co-founder of, was named an Ashoka Fellow, a Switzer Environmental Leadership Fellow, and one of the Top Ten Latin American Entrepreneurs. Alex has a MS in Environmental Engineering and a BA in Journalism.
