Overview of Instructional Design @ Springboard

Spearheading the launch of Springboard’s new courses for 2019, the company is on the lookout for an experienced Instructional Designer to join their San Francisco team. This 4-6 month contract will see you play an invaluable role in designing and improving the instructional practices that underly their programs while applying pedagogical principles to a cutting-edge model.

Drawing on your strong understanding of instructional design and cognitive psychology, you’ll work with subject experts to structure courses and establish curricula that enhance the adult learning experience. This will require you to collect, review and incorporate feedback from students, mentors and employers while rapidly understanding the core concepts of new subject areas.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional project management and organizational skills while being passionate about improving education. You’ll be an excellent communicator with people from all walks of life and understand the logistics of online-distance learning. In addition to building a course from scratch, you’ll work alongside an AI expert to curate a sound educational resource in this industry.
